The Internet provides easy access to recovery-related films, podcasts, audio, talk shows, vlogs, video and more. This is a good way to learn from others and stay connected with your recovery.
- Social Media Networking
Popular social networking sites like TikTok, Instagram and YouTube offer another way to learn about recovery. Posted personal online videos can create community, support recovery and provide hope.
All three are accessible as apps on mobile devices, through web-based browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari, or on streaming devices such as Roku and Apple TV.

Instagram.com
People share photos and short videos which can be organized and searched by hashtags such as #sober, #sobercurious, #aloholfree etc. Posts can be shared publicly or only with preapproved followers. Instagram is available on iOS, Android, Windows 10, and the web and supports 33 languages.

YouTube
On YouTube people can upload, view, rate, comment on, share, and subscribe to videos, many with a focus on sobriety. It is available on PCs, laptops, tablets, and mobile phones. Watching videos is free, but there is also a YouTube Premium paid service with no ads and additional content.

TikTok’s #SoberTok
#SoberTok is a community of people in recovery on TikTok who share their stories on the process and experiences of sobriety through posting their videos. It is available at Apple and Google app stores.
