This morning when I left my house to go to the gym I saw a truck sitting in the middle of the street. Looked in and saw someone leaned over. Thought ok this guy is just stopping cause he dropped something on the floor. When I cam back from the gym 2 hours later the same truck was there so I drove past the car to see if someone was in it. Saw a guy sleeping against the window car still running. So now I know what's going on. This guy is so f***ed up on heroin he can't keep his head up. I park my car cause this is right in front of my house. Go in the house to tell my boyfriend to tell him he needs to leave or i'm calling the cops. My boyfriend don't know what to do. I didn't want to get the guy in trouble but this is a big safety issue for him. So then the guy gets out of his truck, pukes, and passes out in my yard. OK i'm calling the cops. So I yell at him that I called the cops so he needed to pull his s*** together or it was gonna be a bad day for him. After about 10 minutes the guy leaves.

This for sure could have been me. Iv'e never nodded out while driving, but I know the feeling of nodding in and out, barley being able to keep your head up. This is crazy people. To see it from the other side made me feel really lucky that I no longer have to be that sick. It only gets worse if you don't stop.

What that guy needed was a gift card for a new life. I have a 7 yr old son who was like what's wrong with that guy? In front of my house! This guy could have shot me for all I know. I do have compassion cause iv'e been there more than once, but me just doing nothing was not gonna work for me. He needed help. And going to jail could have been his wake up call idk. You didn't offend me in any way, you get that this guy was passed out in his car, running, for like hours. You suggest I do what, invite him in? Get real! The best thing I could have done was what I did, protect myself and my son, and try to make sure he didn't kill himself or anyone else.

Hi , your concern is understood . The best thing you could have done for the guy would have been to call the cops . He is a danger to everyone on the road and him self. For some that's the rock bottom they need to start a new life .
