Can anyone help I'm currently taking approx 42 8/100mg cocodamol tablets and was first prescribed the 30/100mg after my ex smashed one side of my face in and had to get a metal plate fitted. I've can only buy the 8/100mg over the counter as cannot get more from my doctor but have been taking these for almost 5 years and desperate to come off them, I still suffer neuralgia pain in my face but desperate to kick this addiction. Could anyone recommend the best way no one knows how many I take and function normally regardless the amount I take 11 at a time so have built up an intolerance.

I had the same problem, was on 30mg codeine and 500mg paracetamol, this was wrecking liv r as was taking 6-8 at a time 4 times a day. Told doctor so had liver tests and went on just the 30mg codeine tabs until I sought help from addiction place who put me on Buprenorphine(sp?) and was tapering these for a year. Now two week off and am sure things will be better. At the very least ask doc to shift you onto non paracetamol if misusing as too much paracetamol ain't good for you! Best wishes. Pablo. | ||

You should have go to a skin specialist that he/she can give you correct solution for your problem. I wish, your face problem will be cure soon.
