I cant fool myself any longer
I have been drinking myself stupid for many years I have lost my marriage (drinking) I have lost my mother & father (not drinking, just death) my sister hates me (drinking) I hate myself this all seems to feed on itself & i just drink more It is Christmas I find myself alone with 2 cases of beer & a bottle of vodka danger Will Robinson danger | ||

Hi Matt,
Welcome to ARG My Names Paul I'm an Alcoholic with nearly 10 yrs sobriety I remember those thoughts and feelings so well. Nothing worse for an Alcoholic, this type of stuff keeps us drinking, keeps us sick, keeps us away from finding our solution. We so want to get well yet we dont know how. So we continue to drink getting sicker and sicker. I lost practically everything back then, yet today is a better day. I became willing to go to any lengths to get well Physically, Mentally and....... Spiritually My only suggestion is find your AA groups and follow they're suggestions. Life will get more manageable, we get power from powerlessness. Keep posting -------------------- LET GO LET GOD | ||
