i just got on the program and they prescribed me the subzolves they dont seem to helping me as good as i thought they would ive tried the suboxone on the street and it did way better can i get my dr to switch me to the regular suboxone or the strips the se subzolves im on now are useless i rather go back to using then take these things any help would be much appreciated thnk you

Depending on what insurance you have, your dr will have to fax a letter or call letting your ins know that it is medically necessary. You have to be on subsolve for atleast two weeks tho. Hopefully you don't have WellCare cause they are a pain to deal with as far as switching. I've had multiple friends go through this;being on suboxone for years and then the ins company will only pay for subsolve. They finally got switched back but it almost took an act of congress and they had a pretty persistent, caring pcp. Good luck.

I would highly recommend only taking suboxone for two weeks, no more than three. I was taking it for 3 years and took up to 32mg a day. I'm on day 24 of a cold turkey detox and I wish I would have listened to everyone and stopped after two weeks. The detox is anywhere from 2-6 weeks and it sucks.

yeh i go back in two weeks im just gonna tell the dr there not doing it for me i dont like them im still wanting to use atleast when i was buying the reguler suboxone on the streets i wasnt using anything else i just wasnt sure how to tell the dr about it thnks for the info everyone

I told my dr the truth about buying them on the street and he understood. Be honest with your dr, it worked for me :) but I wish I had stopped after 2 weeks!

i told the dr the truth and he switched me but u know wahst a joke when u go to the f***in pharmacy and the pharmacist looks at you like your a piece of s*** they put a f***in lab coat on and they think there f***in the almighty himself took the script in yesterday i still aint got it filled ffs 3 days without meds
