My daughter has been using products like Coriciden and Mucinex containing DXM for many years. She's been hospitalized dozens of times and is showing liver and heart issues due to the his. She wants rehab but is apprehensive due to the severe withdrawals. I am trying to learn if there are any medications available which help to lesson the withdrawal symptoms. For instance like with opioids and alcohol there are medications used to help take the edge off. Please let me know if such medications exist and also any recommendations to help deal with this will be greatly appreciated. She's 25 by the way.
