Suboxone Use Increasing

Hi, Group.

It’s been about 2 years I’ve been on Suboxone. My current level is
6mg/day. I was down to 2 mg for the longest time.

Does everyone develope a tolerance over time to feel “normal”, or could this just be the addict in me increasing on bad days? (Seems like a question to ask myself, I know). I guess what I’m getting at is: I don’t take it all first thing in the morning. I’ve found that I’m cranky come sundown if I do. I space it out for 3 mg, 2X’s a day.

I’ve forgotten where the ceiling is. 2 or 3mg? I ask because, I seem to remember that If I were to take, say, 2 mg in the am tomorrow and 1mg in the afternoon, there should be no withdrawal. Or even 1mg in the am and 1mg in the afternoon. 2 mg is the ceiling effect after all, yes?

My whole motivation is to reverse the constipation from overuse I don’t need. I can’t pretend, though, that subsequent doses make for a nice antidepressant effect for about an hour. Just gotta increase my antidepressant, I guess.

Thoughts?

Gratefully,
