This board has a "search" function you may not be aware of. I was here a long time before someone mentioned it. It really can safe a lot of time when you are looking for a particular post you may want to refer back to, without having to go through each individual page.

After you click into our board, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Just below the "post new topic" button are two boxes side by side that say
"search forums" and "all forums"
type the keyword you are looking for, i.e. treatment, recovery, 12 steps, inpatient, Alanon etc, or you can type the name of a poster who's post you are looking for, in the "search forums" box.

Then click the down arrow next to the "all forums" box and click on "Families/Partners of addicts" then click "Go". This will bring up pages with all posts that have the word/words you typed in the "search forums" box.

Hope this helps you in your search for answers.

Hi, Kerrbear..thank you. Having brittany back is the best feeling ever. She's living by the beach, working, and seeking out ways to help her in her sobriety. It is a miracle.

Welcome to the boards. I believe there are other areas that you might find more helpful, people with more expertise. The moderator may move your post for you to find the best help.

Until then, one day at a time. One moment at a time. You decided to go to a meeting! That is a great. Focus on that one step. And, that one step with turn into many more. But, try not to beat yourself up or get on an emotional roller coaster. Just think about relaxing in the moment, knowing you are going to a meeting.

I am glad you have decided to go to a meeting!
