I have really great health insurance but I don't have a determined primary care physician as I never go to the dr. I'm trying to start suboxone but finding that I am only being lead to clinics that you have to pay gross amounts out of pocket for the visit. I tried calling my insurance and they just lead me to rehab facilities. Will a primary care Dr prescribe me suboxone? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Lots of primary care docs can offer suboxone if they have the waiver. You can check SAMSHA's website to find docs in your area. I work at a clinic that is working on taking insurance and does sliding scale for folks, they are not always over priced!
