Keep trudging, Flipper, it does get so much better and then it gets real but the blessing is that we get to do life with a clear mind.
I hope you're doing well and you should be close to that 30 day mark? Remember PAWS and keep doing those things that feed you spiritually, physically and mentally. For me, it takes work on all those things in order for me to have a more balanced, peaceful life even when life hits and the storms are raging. I never realized just how "numbed" out I was to everything and everyone until I got clean. That beautiful sunrise you talked about, I cherish those things today. Sammy died of a surgery ..gone wrong or she said how did Sammy die? Her daughter they were in bed looking at movies after she has her neck done,,and when she woke up her mom was sleeping not,,she was dead/ confused did she take to many or did her health kill her? poopie
