Message Board > Suboxone > Testosterone Level Questions After Quitting Suboxo

Posted by: Mike May 19, 2019, 5:15 AM
I have been on suboxone for ten years. I recently found out i have very low testosterone that my doctor thinks is from the suboxone.

Does anyone know if testosterone levels are known to return after quitting long term suboxone use?
Or is the damage permanent?

I've been on Suboxone for about the same amount of time and also had really low testosterone. My doctor gave me this gel to take at night for about 2 months and now my testosterone is actually high. So it seems to be easily fixed. Not sure if Suboxone lowered my testosterone though.

Ok, I am looking for a class or something to join on line once a month for a new clinic. I am on suboxone. I would rather do it one on one over the phone. Thank you. C

I have also been wondering the same thing. I just sometimes feel like my get up and go, got up and went. I am also putting weight on and losing muscle tone. Sometimes I just don't feel like myself. I have been on Suboxone for several years also.
