Today marks 5 yrs clean. Although 5 yrs is truly amazing for me, it's still a one day thing. I couldn't have made it without the help of countless, including this board. I came here a lot in the beginning. It seemed easier to be able to post my problems and thoughts and I found great support here.
Today. I still work with a sponsor, who ironically I knew from childhood( God has a great sense of humor) a regular AA member, and my husband of over 30 yrs, who kicked my butt at first and then has just given his love and support to me. But is was the willingness to be just a bit open and willing to change and to keep my slate clean that keeps me here. Thanks to all that have helped me and a prayer to those who are still out and need guidance. Peace and Love to you | ||
