Hey Family-
Big Nomad here. I have been clean off of Heroin for 10 years, and coming up on six years sober off alcohol on St. Patrick's Day. It seems like a blink of an eye now, but it was hell when I was in the thick of the fight. I guess that is an applied use of the Theory of Relativity, however.

I want to share my story musically. Too often I hear people say addicts don't deserve another chance, we are helpless, or we are never going to change. We are all addicts in our own ways. Society dictates what is taboo or not. Personally, I could take ANYTHING and make it a nasty habit.

It has taken me 10 years, but I finally said it.
(But what hurts the most is that through all this time, no one asked.)
