Wow. I am here still. Today I have 6 months smoke free not one single puff. Weekends and holidays included. I am working the steps with a new sponsor. I did my 5th step over the weekend. I feel a little cleaner & a little lighter. Im glad I've stuck to it. I know that I have not "arrived" so to speak. I had 3 years at one point. In a general way I made some choices that fell short of my ideal and I lit up a smoke to put up a barrier between myself and that truth. I think I am beginig to sort that out now. Through the step process.
I am grateful to have been given a set of tools and principals. I am grateful for women who give freely of thier time and experience strength and hope. This is heavy stuff sometimes. I dont need to smoke over it. I just need to look at it and discard the stuff that doesn't work anymore.
Anyway Grateful that I hit a milestone and grateful to be a little closer to God today.
One more month down.

My success story

Beliefs have the power to create and the power to destroy.
Human beings have the awesome ability
to take any experience of their lives
and create a meaning that disempowers them
or one that can literally save their lives.

- Anthony Robbins

Sometimes I lay awake at night and wonder where I've gone wrong. Then a little voice inside my head says,
"This is going to take more than one night."

"Ring the bells that still can ring.
Forget your perfect offering.
There is a crack in everything.
That's how the light gets in."
