So my nicotine recovery diary is on this page right from day one (March 2011) and I did it. I successfully quit nicotine after being a daily heavy smoker for about 26 years. But the day came, and I smoked again. It started in the proverbial "one drag" in about 6 months time. I started smoking at least daily. After to talking to my AA sponsor and having some strange behaviors. Here I am again. I have been in fear of "trying" to quit again. That fear has kept me lighting up some times one a day, sometimes several. So I am putting it out here and walking out of the shadows. To shine the search light on myself and my old behaviors. Day one.. again.
Its noon so far, so good.

Much love and respect,
Jane

or one that can literally save their lives.

Sometimes I lay awake at night and wonder where I've gone wrong. Then a little voice inside my head says,
"This is going to take more than one night."

Forget your perfect offering.
There is a crack in everything.
That's how the light gets in."
