The idea of teaching others how they should treat you is not limited to dealing with someone with SUD. Substance Use Disorder.

Have you and your family set boundaries? If so, this is such a healthy and healing step, and shows such strength.

Take a listen to Rob Mo - a Tree House Recovery Addiction Counselor as he tries to help explain the importance of families setting boundaries, and the need for our ALO to also set boundaries with us as they begin to work their recovery.
