People think it's New Years and the holidays. Nope. People going to things like cookouts or other outdoor events up the chances of alcohol consumption.
I've seen areas where the week end warrior softball league and golf clubs of all places produce some of the most intoxicated drivers. It's not just the winter holidays. Also keep in mind warmer weather environments probably increase thirst and fools think a dozen beers a day is the cure.
