Not Sure How Much More I Can Take

I know and have accepted I am addicted to anti-anxiety meds. I do and do not want to get off the meds all at the same time

My mental health is in shambles, I can barely get through my day. I want to die but I don't want to be diagnosed with a disease.

I love my wife but I want her to leave. I want to crawl into bed and take as many Librium tablets as is necessary just never wake up

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Does anyone else feel like this?

I tried taking all my Valium in 1989. A friend found me and got me help.

When I reached the end of my rope .. when I had a gun to my head......

that's when I walked into recovery.

I had to get to the point where I had nothing left to lose -
at the "jumping off point" as AA calls it.

Read some of the other posts where folks are attending meetings and loving it
... like Skeeter and Lulu.

You could do that too, just make the call and show up.

I know EXACTLY how you feel. Trust me.

Now trust me to get into AA/NA. It will save your life as it did mine.

All the best.

What is more important ?? Getting clean, sane and centred .... or working ??

If you don't get clean/sober you'll be unemployed/dead soon anyway.

You'll need some help getting your priorities straight but AA/NA will address that.
