I'm trying to find out if using suboxone and kratom at the same time will do any good or will I go into withdrawal if I take kratom and then suboxone too soon do I need to give it the same amount of time as withdrawing from the heroine

are you physically dependent on opiates? we aren't really here to talk about getting high on them.... we're here cause we're done messing with them and trying to recover.

but, if you are physically addicted to opiates and then use a recreational dose of kratom and follow it too soon with suboxone, then, yes, i would say that it could very well potentially make you sick.

Hey chris I see your return post hi yeah I'm big time addicted to heroin and I accidentally without thinking ate some kratom and was wondering if I would go into the immediate withdrawal if trying to do suboxone afterwards which I did and was a big mistake I'm setting up going into detox next week but that's the soonest I can get in but I do appreciate your response because yeah it was a big mistake I'm better today but not strike and tired of of doing this stupid stuff this will be my third time in rehab in 57 years I probably won't post much until I get out of rehab just to keep it going in and keep the support in place so for a bit I'll sign off and I'll see you guys later and everybody stay strong and I'll see you guys later

Mike:

Check your local telephone book or on-line for NA (Narcotics Anonymous).
Give them a call to find out where the meetings are in your area.
You will find the answers for your questions there.

All the best.

What did detox tell you to do once you got home?
Did they suggest you get to meetings?

I wish you the best.

Hey man, glad you made it through detox. I'm sure everyone's already told you that you have a long road ahead of you. Initial withdrawal is just the beginning. All I can say is do not underestimate cravings. If you're an addict your mind is going to lie to you and trying to do this on willpower alone is going to be extremely difficult. You need to set up a safety net while the pain you've caused yourself and others is still fresh.

Best of luck to you, and merry Christmas. It's a tough road, but you can do this.
