Hi everyone. This is my first time here. I am writing to find help with my sister, who has been struggling with alcoholism for over two decades, but over the last year it has become dire (life and death) that she gets help. She agreed to try Vivitrol, but her insurance doesn't cover it. Does anyone know how to get financial help for her?

Hello,
I thought I had seen online that there were sites to go on that would help with the shot cost.
My son is to be getting the shot this week. Our insurance has authorized it.
What insurance does your sister have? Can anyone plead her case that this is life or death?

I'm unsure of who her insurance provider is. She's covered under her husband, who works for USPS, so it must be decent coverage. The price she was given was $1000/dose. This not a possibility if she must pay out of pocket. Good luck to you and your son. :)

Are you still in need of Vivitrol?
