Its amazing to see my posts here from 2011. Im the one who got the mods and creators of this awesome site to add the methadone page and I see it is still going strong!!
Ive been clean from my heroin addiction for 30 1/2 years by using methadone. I have actually been detoxing for the past 2 years. I was at 105mg and Im at 11mg now. I was dropping 2 mg a month and did great until I hit 6mg. So I went up 5. I have had 13 takehomes for many years so when I go in next time I will drop 1 mg each month. SLOW IS KEY. It's great to see everyone doing their best to stop their opiate addictions. Keep it up!! You got this!! | ||

Granny23 so great to see you are getting off the Methadone!! That is wonderful news. Down to 11mg from 105! that is awesome!! You should feel so proud! I am almost 6 years clean and don’t miss it one bit. I’m so grateful for this board and all the support I got while going through my taper. I don’t know if I would have succeeded without it.
Anyway glad to see you are working on getting off as well! I wish you all the best.❤️😊 | ||
