I successfully quit smoking over 5 years ago. I setup a quite date, I had someone who I was accountable to (spoke with 1-2x month), I wrote a list of all the reasons I wanted to quit, I tapered some until my quit date, I post-poned my quit date by over a week but followed through. I switch to vaping, which at the time, seemed better, but quit that too after about a year and haven't looked back.

Hope this helps somebody :)

Best wishes,
