Hi Pirate!!
I check in every morning about this time waiting for the sun to come up. I may not post but I'm usually here.

Hi Marie,

I check in usually during the week. Been busy with life, new ventures in AA & helping women so a lot of my time is spent in recovery, just not on this site like it used to be.

Hope you are doing well.

Take good care~
Stacey

I check in, but I'm a peripheral player here. It has been quiet without the usual suspects. This board used to be incredibly active...it must be hard for you pirate, since you are somewhat more isolated location-wise. I miss the give-and-take...I learned a lot on this board.

Peace ~ M&M

Thanks guys. I check in every morning and mom as you said this board has been slow lately. I think we have to remind ourselves .. me included.... that to just post a little something each day because there are people who lurk around here who are probably new and trying to get up the nerve to seek help. by posting some little thing we may be just giving someone else a fighting chance at getting sober. so today if there are any of you who are lurking on the sidelines I want you to know there is help, there is hope that you can achieve sobriety and you are not alone.Have a great day everyone . it is a gift , use it wisely..God bless.

<<<<<<< Waving a big ole Hello Pirate >>>>>>>>>

I read the boards from time to time these days but I don't post much anymore because I just feel very out of the loop. Don't feel it's right to just jump back in with my advice or worries or whatever when I've been gone so long. I also have found I just don't have the energy to take on other people's problems anymore.Plus....all of you that know me, know that I've got that side-car parked, gassed up, and ready to go at a moments notice. At least for me...Once a Codie always a Codie! LOL

Much love to all the ARG old-timers! Nice to see you guys!

P.S. Nice to see your doing so well M! Much love sent your way!

Here !!

I remember years ago an oldtimer asked my sponsor how many members our group had...

My sponsor said " 8 members... 2 active, 2 inactive.. and 4 at-large"

All the best to everyone.

Pirate- I'm not too bad, ive been worse. Missing a lot of people from Washington, where I used to live. There is a saying by I think Norman Mailer, it goes something like- "You can never go back home"...finding that to be true.

What's new with you? Still in NewFoundland or was it Nova Scotia?

Hi Pirate,

I'm still around and doing well. I still log in to this board now and then to see how every one is doing. I'm still thankful for all the help I got from this board when I needed it and I'm still taking things

one day at a time.... Cookster
