in january due to insurance change my dr. had to switch me from butrans 25mcg/hr/week transdermal patch to 12mcg/ hr/3 day fentanyl upped in one month to 25 mcg 3 day patch,
i take 3 oxycodone/apap as prescribed which is a dose increase. I had brought back the patches which didnt work or fell off and they were destroyed before me accoding to the law. I asked why there would be no taper; he thought i wouldnt have trouble withdrawing considering the oxycodone/apap 10 3x/day- in your experience is this true? My pharmacists eyes got large with worry as she suspects i will go through full fentanyl withdrawal. Thankyou in advance for your input.
