Thank you. It's simply Step 12 work. (as you know.)

My wish is to log in here one morning and find nobody here ... they're all at meetings ! :0)

I watched a great video yesterday.
Dr Wayne Dyer gave AA quite a good reference and Louise Hay was there as well.

Hey Bob! I got a question for ya. I'm sicker than iv'e been in a while and have been to the doctor. I have told my doctor no narcarictics, but want to make sure I can take these cough pills. The name is Tessalon Perles. I looked it up online and I didn't get a lot of info about it. Is there a link to a list that you know of with meds you should or should not take? I found one list but it's from the 90's lol. Thanks for your help.

Mike, I attend 5-7 meetings a week.
I am retired and have the time to dedicate to the program that saved my life and continues to save it on a daily basis. I try to "pass it on".
Actually, while I was working years ago, I still attended 4-5 meetings/wk.

Girl:
I had a procedure recently in the hospital and I told the doctor and the anaesthetist that I am a recovering addict/alcoholic. They thanked me for sharing that and told me that all would be well with the drugs used in the procedure. All did go well as they said it would.
I guess my point is I have to share with those professionals the truth of the matter and I also have to trust their judgement on prescriptions. They are the doctors !!
If I think I am going to second-guess them based on various website opinions then I am only screwing myself. Why would I think that I have more information/wisdom than the doctor ??

Look at your scrip as a blessing from the doctor to help you. Take it as prescribed and get better.

Try not to over-think this, try to trust and be grateful.

All the best.

Hi jess:

Since november 2013 was under twice--for procedures--We are all different.

All i can tell you is I take 100%% responsibility for any food drink or meds--I educate myself then ask the doctor and that is it. got myself a new primary and he spent 2 hours with me--Freakin book LOL But man it was worth it--last year he had all my meds and the surgeons they would have given me mexican Tar if legal

Food for me is awful--and man I do not drink soda once in a blue moon-hospital they gave me gingerale I was having 2-3 at hospital came home??Had to wean off the soda--one a day--I like it---

Coffee was really rough man--Like i said were all different

I am deranged but I look back and its funny how sick my mind is.

You have a AWESOME weekend-- us floridians cold front coming SUCKS

Take care Jessica--Jeffrey
