I have been taking adcodol/lenadol tablets for over 10 years up to 8 to 10 a day. I am now on my 9th day without any pain pills. How long do the withdrawal symptoms last? I feel terrible and want to curl up in a heap.

Hello Anne:
Are you under medical supervision for withdrawal?
Call the phone number for your local NA (Narcotics Anonymous) group and talk to those folks. They have all been where you are and can help you in recovering.

All the best.

Eat more protien veg fruit plenty water and a brisk walk will help ease symptoms.

Hello Anne:

I nearly died in 1989 from drug/alcohol addiction.
The only thing that saved me was the same program that has saved millions before us. AA & NA

Here is AA's HOW IT WORKS http://www.aa.org/assets/en_US/p-10..._howitworks.pdf

People don’t just quit and walk away on their own. We need help.

All the best.

If protein & exercise were the answer the world wouldn't need AA.

Do what you have/want to do Anne but I found the answer in AA & NA.

Good luck, girl.

As you are withdrawing, sleep and other symptoms will prevail unfortunatly.

Stick at it can you take something for your headaches and other symptoms your having.

This will subside in-time. I wish you well and be sure to keep hydrated drinking plenty water that can help with your headaches. This does not last forever, although it seems that way.

Best wishes

I found the hump days were day 5,7,10,14,20. After 20 the malaise takes a nose dive. Great job on 9 days. It's all up from here. Every day is better than the last. (Give or take a few)
