Hi

You need a sponsor , meetings and more recovery work.

One drink will never ever be okay.

Work your steps properly with a sponsor because it seems your desire to drink still exists.

Hi Karl welcome to the board. write a list of the reasons why you gave up drinking in the first place..is that where you want to be again? ..reach out, go to a meeting, get support..one drink is too many and a thousand not enough..

Thank God for what you have. Trust God for what you need

If you've been sober for 10 months then part of you knows that having one drink is not safe. AA has helped me. Pray & work with another alcoholic. Those two things are the biggest help to me, even if I don't know what I'm praying to or if I even believe or want to. Draw out the part of you that doesn't want to be drunk and miserable. Prayer and talking w/ other alcoholics helps me to do that. I didn't get sober to have a wonderful life. I quit drinking to have a chance at a peaceful life. There are no guarantees in sobriety, but drinking guarantees misery, for me.
