Want To Stop And Get Clean

I've had it. Somehow I've gotten myself into a situation where no one can tell if or how much I've had to drink. I just know I want to stop. This is not what I want. I do want to stop. Right now, no one notices if I drink or not. I guess I function the same drunk or sober. Not sure what to make of that. I just feel like I'm drowning. I don't like it. I'm at the end of my rope. I need help.

You may be ready to do what I did when I got to the end of my rope....

Look Alcoholics Anonymous up in your telephone book and give them a call.
They have helped millions and might just be what you are looking for.

All the best.

Hello CC813

You seem to be searching for an answer regarding your drinking. Go to some AA meetings. The people there know more about drinking AND not drinking, than any other group that I can imagine.

They will freely give you their stories and help you.

Good Luck.

Hi CC. Welcome to the board..Like all diseases alcoholism gets worse if left untreated. it is also a disease that tells you that you don't have a disease. There is a solution to your problem. it will take work and willingness and a change of lifestyle but if you want to get well then recovery work is necessary. AA have helped many achieve sobriety. you have nothing to lose by checking it out and probably a whole lot to gain.If you are reluctant to go to a face to face meeting you can check out online meetings at stepchat.com.. Keep coming back and let us know how you are doing...

Thank God for what you have. Trust God for what you need
