Dear Members,
I am 38years old and I am a recovering alcoholic who has been sober now for two months, not even a glass of wine with my dinner,I was a lone drinker, very secretive but that all changed when at the age of 31 I suffered a stroke caused by my drinking, binge drinking or should I say 24/7 drinking.A clot formed in my brain causing a blockage which one night exploded causing a bleed on the right hand side of my brain and leaving me disabled on my left hand side and epileptic due to scarring on my brain, well that's enough of the gory stuff if any members would like to hear more you can do so by hearing my podcast by visiting www.alcoholpolicy.net/2007/05/index.html and scrolling down to 'A Survivors Story' If any members do have a listen to my podcast it would be great to hear any comments you may have.

Welcome, Delbert.
Are you getting sober, or just drying out? Have a guy in a group that I attend who had a crippling stroke as a direct result of this disease. He just got a 1-year medallion last Friday. And he's near full recovery.

Welcome delbert. keep coming back. You may learn something here that will help you. This board was my first attempt at recovery and the people here were a tremendous help to me and it's kinda like home to me and the people like family. Been 2 years now and I know they are still in my corner and they will be in yours too..there is much to learn, much to do and a life to live...go for it!!!!!!!!

HELLO Delbert,

How are you keeping up with all the life changes? I applaud your honesty and please keep posting because this little place has become one of my favourite groups to meet with like minded people. I will be looking out for you too.

I have looked you up delbert a couple of weeks along the track and wonder how you are going? As pirate said, this group is like a little family and I am very new-as of only one month hear and feel like I am getting to know the individuals who have the experience I need to walk forward and stay sober one day at a time .

Look forward to your posts.

Welcome Delbert and Kieran
Glad you are here
Feel free to share your story
Mine is under cocaine- available to help
c/s 12 yrs thru 12 step.
Good Luck !
It works if you work it !

But you need real life 12 step meetings, of which this site is not a substitute for.
So reach out, ventilate, get a sponsor who has 20-30 years c/s and whose lifestyle and sobriety you admire and find out how they did it and Listen real well.

Best Wishes !

Welcome Delbert,

Glad you found this website. Keep coming back, keep sharing.

I found that I no longer had to be a loner or isolated by my disease, that with the help of others, not only do I stay sober another day, but I am learning how to live life with joy & peace in my heart.

I look forward to hearing more of your story.

Take care,
Stacey

Ujęcie odpowiedniej
chwili na ślubie to
ogromnie
skomplikowana praca. Trzeba
niesłychanie dobrze zadbać o to by para młoda dla
której realizujemy
zawarcie związku małżeńskiego
była wyjątkowo
szczęśliwa z naszej
dzieła. Z pewnością będzie szczęśliwa jeśli zatrudni
Nas, gdyż posiadamy ważne w owej profesji
doświadczenie i spojrzenie
na wiele spraw jakimi są sesje
ślubne w plenerze, fotografie
zrobione w kościele i w domu ślubnym.
Zaskakujemy przyszłych
małżonków
oryginalnością i
inwencją
zrealizowania
każdej fotografii ślubnej. Fotografia ślubna Kraków to
miejsce o którym
marzycie. Zrealizujemy
każde wasze pragnienia i
warunki. Na koniec
dostaniecie od Nas
niezwykle
rozmaity zbiór
przebranych zdjęć zarówno w
formie papierowej jak i cyfrowej.
Przygotujemy Wam taki pokaz, którym będziecie mogli z
uśmiechem sławić się przed
towarzyszkami
czy rodziną.

Nie jedna
z Was z pewnością marzy o tym by na osobistym
ślubie
zaangażować fotografika
weselnego wybranego z należytą starannością. Jest to
realne jeśli wybiorą Państwo fotograficzne usługi
ślubne praktykowane
przeze mnie. Niezawodność,
aspiracja i zupełny
profesjonalizm to dewizy, które
charakteryzują moją osobę i
pokażą, że należałoby
postawić owszem na mnie.
Dysponowane przeze mnie
doświadczenie powoduje, że nie ma dla mnie
tematu nie do
uskutecznienia.
Fotografia ślubna Kraków jest na tyle
skomplikowana, że choć miasto
wielkie to
nowych
położeń co raz mniej. Na
uciechę mam jeszcze kilkanaście w zanadrzu bo
wierny Fotograf ślubny z Krakowa musi
myśleć przyszłościowo.
